Candy
Looks like: Poodle
Female, 14 years old, 10 pounds
Candy is just as sweet as her name! She is vision impaired and essentially deaf, but does her best to follow people and is sweet to everyone. While she may be showing some signs of age-related dementia, she is undeniably adorable, curious and friendly with other dogs. If you love cute dogs, then she is the one for you! She gets along fine with cats and gentle children. This little darling wants to feel secure and there's no better place than wrapped in your loving arms! Her energy level is low, so she's happiest snuggled up in bed or on a lap.

Candy is a doll to have around. She is a little unstable on her feet, and appreciates help to get outside for potty time. She no longer requires walks, but instead will follow whoever seems interesting, often going from person to a dog to following another dog with her adorable prance.

This precious girl enjoys sleeping on laps and has the sweetest, gentle breathing when she is sound asleep. Her ideal home would be with someone who has the time to cuddle, dote on her, and simply to give her the lovely golden moments that this little lamb deserves.

Candy came to us from the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter.
