Princess Merida is really sweet with other dogs, and while a little timid with people, is gentle and accepting. She follows her person around and absolutely enjoys cuddling. She was appropriate in meeting a cat and would do well in just about any home. She is good on leash and when left alone, she settles into a cozy spot and is a content girl.

This poor girl was hit by a car and was picked up by a good Samaritan. She was having difficulty walking at first but is getting better and better each day! Her mobility will benefit from some physical therapy and hopefully her future person will continue to encourage her improvement. The vet thinks that her condition should improve over time.

Merida's journey took her through Salinas Animal Services and now to us, with her next step being a forever home.
