Oh, you DUMPLING! This beautiful dog is a happy, wiggly sweet young thing who has bouncy puppy energy to spare. We can tell that Dumpling is already showing that she will be a fantastic family dog, who currently gets to hang out with 10 year olds at her foster home and loves to join in their fun. She's human-centric and will be thrilled to be loved by a whole family with lots of activity going on. She also LOVES "zoomies" with other friendly dogs! She is tempted to chase cats, so a cat-free home might be best.
Dumpling is really smart and trainable, and has quickly bonded to her "safe person." Dumpling is currently enjoying having space to run and burn off her puppy energy, and she will need a home with a secure high fence, because she can really jump! This cool kid enjoys car rides, will politely sit for treats, and is eager to go on walks. When it's time to settle down, Dumpling can be mellow in the house. While she's chilling, though, we think she's dreaming of her next romp session! We think she would love to share a home with other dogs who enjoy joyful interactions.
Dumpling was initially found as a stray and brought to Hitchcock Road Animal Services shelter, as she needed medical attention for a torn teat. She must have recently had puppies but none were located. We brought her into our program to address her veterinary needs, and she is healing nicely and ready for her new adventures!
