Cole is the snuggliest bug (okay, dog) you're ever likely to meet. This little guy has lots of love to give, and he shares it generously with everyone he comes in contact with. He loves to be held, and if you pick him up, he'll melt into your arms and gaze lovingly into your eyes. He also bonds deeply with his caretakers and is very devoted to them. Although Cole is a great lap dog, he's also young pup, so he also has plenty of energy. He enjoys playing with other small dogs, particularly if they're female.
After he entered foster care with us, Cole started having seizures, but his foster has done a phenomenal job of caring for him. Cole will need to take daily medication for the rest of his life to treat his seizures, but as long as he takes his doses regularly, he shouldn't have any breakthrough seizures.
Cole was adopted from Hitchcock Road Animal Services in April of this year, but when his guardian became unwell, he came to us as a Helping Paw temporary foster. Unfortunately, while he was in foster care, his guardian passed away, so we officially brought him into our program as an adoptable dog.
