Loki may have the impish grin of the God of Mischief, but we promise, he is as sweet and loving as they come! This happy boy has a perpetual grin. His foster family describes him as incredibly sweet, loving, affectionate, cuddly and very responsive to people. He loves people of all ages, including older children. Loki enjoys meeting other medium and large-sized dogs and tries to get everyone to play with him. He's a bit too excited about kitties, so he is looking for a home without them. He is an excellent ball chaser and would be thrilled to join an active family that can take him on many walks and adventures. Loki is still learning his size and is a bit clumsy because of it. He often accidentally runs into people or other dogs in his exuberance for life.
Because Loki is such an active boy, happiest when he has space to run and be his silly self, he is searching for a home with a fenced-in yard. He would love to have a similarly playful and energetic dog in his forever home, but would do just fine as a solo pup if he can have regular playdates with doggie friends.
Loki came to us after Loki's guardian left him at his grandfather's home and was unable to take him back. All 70 pounds of Loki is a bit too much dog for the grandparents, so he is looking for a new forever home.
