Betsy is a sweet young lady who apparently has been dealt some awful cards in her short life. She is looking for a safe space to land while she recovers from some significant injuries she sustained when she was struck by a vehicle. She is a little bit shy and shut down at this time, but we are sure that in a calm, loving home, she will blossom into a whole new pup!

Betsy came to us in dire need of medical care, transferred from Madera County Animal Services. Due to the Fork Fire, the shelter needed to clear space for evacuees. We were happy to be able to help them make room for those dogs in need.
