Peace of Mind Dog Rescue is dedicated to finding new loving homes for dogs whose guardians can no longer care for them due to illness, death, or other challenging circumstances, and to finding homes for senior dogs in animal shelters.

Abalonetti's 60th Anniversary Celebration

Cost is $30 per person. 100% of proceeds to POMDR. Reservations are required. For reservations call (831) 373-1851.
Guests will enjoy, breathtaking views of the Monterey Bay, sip award winning Monterey County wines and taste a wide variety of Abalonettis famous dishes including six decades of calamari featured in themed stations for guests to enjoy. The admission price includes food and wine. There will be a fashion show featuring adoptable dogs in outfits donated by Diggidy Dog. The outfits will be auctioned off in a live auction emceed by Mac MacDonald during the show. Guests are encouraged to bring their own four legged friends dressed in their finest fashions. Two local reporters will be judging the best four legged outfit of the evening. The winner will receive a tail wagging basket of delights donated by The Raw Connection! Space is limited to 125 attendees.

How Can You Help?
If you would like to help POMDR with a donation, consider sponsoring one of our dogs. Your sponsorship will help cover the costs of their medical care while they are looking for a permanent home. Visit our adoptable dog page to choose a dog to sponsor.
Our dogs also need more exposure to find that perfect home. If you or your business would like to sponsor an ad in the Carmel Pine Cone, Monterey County Weekly, PG Hometown Bulletin, Cedar Street Times, the Monterey County Herald, or the Santa Cruz Sentinel please email us. We welcome sponsors who would like to sponsor a one time ad or are interested in sponsoring one ad per month ongoing. The cost of each ad is between $100 and $150 depending upon the newspaper.
