The Monica Rua Silver Hearts Fund

The
We are thrilled to announce the creation of the Monica Rua Silver Hearts Fund, a tribute to the tireless dedication that Monica, our co-founder, has to helping senior dogs. After over 15 years of service on the POMDR Board of Directors, Monica continues to make a difference by fostering super seniors, dogs with severe medical conditions, and those in hospice care.

The Silver Hearts Fund will be used to cover extraordinary medical expenses for POMDR dogs, ensuring they receive the specialized care they need. Join us in honoring the incredible legacy and commitment that Monica has created by donating today.

The Tiny Dog with the Huge Heart

The
The Tiny Dog with the Huge Heart by Stephanie Turcotte Edenholm is intended to inspire compassion and empathy in readers of all ages through the story of the life of a real dog named Bernie, who was adopted from POMDR by our co-founder Monica Rua.

The book is available on Amazon.com or at the POMDR Bauer Center in Pacific Grove, CA. Proceeds benefit POMDR.

Wooftrax "Walk for a Dog"

Wooftrax
You can now support POMDR and help us save more senior dogs by using the Wooftrax app and selecting POMDR as your animal charity of choice. The app is free and it's easy to log your walk.

The more people actively walking with Wooftrax, the greater the donation to Peace of Mind Dog Rescue! Every walk counts, whether it's around the block or a long hike.

No dog in your life right now? No problem. You can still record your walk with the app's "virtual dog," Cassie!
