Cappuccino, also known as Theo, is a mellow companion dog who loves nothing more than being with his people, long naps, and cuddles on the couch.
As much as he loves his quiet days at home, Cappuccino also enjoys getting out and about. He is a good car rider and is polite with other dogs he meets on leash. He likes to go for walks, though he takes things at his own pace and stops to smell the roses frequently. Cappuccino did have a stressful experience with a larger dog in the past year, and as a result he does feel uncomfortable around large dogs.
Cappuccino has a heart murmur that doesn't bother him or affect his charming personality. He also has mild cataracts but the vet felt his vision was fine. Both of these will need to be monitored at his routine exams. Like many spaniels, Cappuccino also suffers from chronic skin and ear infections. He does need regular baths and ear flushes to maintain a healthy status quo.
Cappuccino came to us when his previous guardian became ill and could no longer care for him. He was adopted from POMDR in 2017, but his adopters now have a new baby, and Cappuccino would prefer to have all the attention to himself.
