When you meet Lolita, your eyes will probably lock with hers because she has a sweet, expressive face. She loves making eye contact to figure out what you're feeling or gain clues to what you might do next. She is a little timid but warms up and adores being near her people.
Lolita is a true companion dog, happy to be by your side, wherever your side may be. She loves relaxing in her doggie bed on car rides, and since she's so small, she's easy to take with you.
While Lolita can be shy at first, she does quickly warm up to gentle people, especially those bearing treats, and small dogs. She is crate trained and walks well on leash, but she does need to avoid stairs. She gets along with other dogs and enjoys being part of a pack but will be just as content as the only pet. She loves sleeping near her person and burrows under the covers.
Her guardian became ill and physically unable to care for her, so she's hoping for a new, quiet home where she can make you the center of her universe.
