Our little Maybelline is a testimonial to how a loving foster home can bring out the best in a pup! She was a timid, scared little dog in the shelter, but once she was able to come home with one of our wonderful foster volunteers, she has blossomed into a sweet and loving companion dog.

This little beauty (after all, her name is Maybelline!) tends to be a bit shy when being introduced but quickly comes around and is first curious, then interactive and affectionate. At home, she is very calm and quiet, simply wanting to hang out with her person. Maybelline will follow you around the house, and looks for chances to offer her sweet little kisses and get some snuggle time and belly rubs. She enjoys walks and car rides, and greets new dogs politely. This dog is easy to love and be with, and so cute! To quote Maybelline's foster mom: "She is super sweet and just wants to be loved. I don't think she has a mean bone in her body."

Maybelline is good with other dogs and happy to share space with them. In fact, she actually seems prefer a home situation with other small dogs to interact with, so if you'd like to add one more to your pack, Maybelline's ready to join in!

Maybelline would be a great dog for someone who wants a snuggle-bug and constant companion. Her ideal home is a quiet one where she can bond strongly to an adoring human. She has dry eye and will be on meds for life to keep her comfortable, and she accepts her treatment easily.
