Double the fun: Kody and Curlie are ready to find their forever home - together! These two very polite boys come to POMDR because after their guardian had to move from her ranch to a mobile home where she was only allowed two dogs. Curlie is extremely loveable and was their previous guardian's favorite of his litter. He is loyal, smart, and affectionate and loves to go on walks. He walks off leash well and comes when called. Curlie is friendly and polite to other dogs he meets and children. Curlie does like his exercise and would be happiest in a house where he could receive somewhere around 3 walks a day. He was hit by a car four years ago and has hip dysplasia as a result, but doesn't let that slow him down! Curlie also loves to play with stuffed toys, balls and kongs. He does well by himself, as long as he can be in his kennel with his best friend Kody.

Similar to Curlie, Kody is an affectionate guy who provides great company. He loves toys of all kinds, and is great walking on a leash. While he is not super interested in other dogs (besides his pal Curlie) he is polite to other dogs he meets. Both dogs are used to a variety of different animals including donkeys, llamas, pigs, and cats. If left alone in his kennel, Kody can get a little vocal, but is calm and quiet if he has Curlie by his side. Kody does have a bit of arthritis and is on medication to help ease the pain.

Kody and Curlie's foster mom has nothing but good things to say about these two. They are affectionate, well behaved, calm and eager to please love bugs. These boys have been together for the past 7 years and would love to spend the rest of their lives together. If you have room for two amazing dogs in your heart and home, look no further than Curlie and Kody!
