Male, 4 years old, 18 pounds
Blitzen is a friendly and social little guy. He readily approaches new people and likes attention, but is also curious about exploring his surroundings. He does well with other pups and will eagerly meet them, but not overly so. He used to frequent Carmel beach and loved playing with other dogs. He is needing a home with experienced guardians. He likes being active and is an escape artist, so a sturdy fence and watchful guardians are a must. He is also looking for a home in which his people will be home a lot. He is not great in the car so is best at home and happiest with his people.

Blitzen is good with people but needs a home without young children, older kids is possible though. Couples should keep in mind that he will likely bond with just one person in the home.

Blitzen is a Dachshund with a long body and spine. He cannot jump. If he needs to get up or down from anything, he has stairs that assist him.

He comes to us because his guardian can no longer care for him.
