Bichon Frise
Male, 10 years old, 25 pounds
Have you been looking to add a pop of sweetness and fun to your life? Look no further than Otter Pop! Otter Pop is a real trooper, having been found by his previous guardian under a car surrounded by coyotes! His previous guardian scared the coyotes away and Otter Pop jumped out and said, "to repay you for your kindness, I shall give you lots of love" and he has been with them ever since. Unfortunately, his guardian/savior is moving to a facility that won't allow dogs, which means Otter Pop is on the hunt for a new guardian/savior.

Otter Pop is extremely easy going and gets along well with other dogs and people. While he gets very excited to go on walks, and walks well on the leash, he is still building up his stamina and does best on shorter juants. He loves to sleep in his bed and does fine when left alone. He is great in the home and will let you know when he needs to go outside. He does well in a car, especially if his bed is coming along for the ride. He does not pant or get anxious. He is an all around mellow guy.

Otter Pop has an enlarged heart and coughs when he gets excited. He is a little overweight and on a strict diet, receiving only pets, love and kisses as treats. He is not able to get up and down on furniture on his own yet, and would do best in a home with someone who is able to walk him regularly and help him with his weight. He also has impaired vision in one eye, but still sees the beauty in life perfectly clearly.

Otter Pop is a complete love bug! His curious and social nature will make you fall in love, and as you can see, he's already packed his suitcase and is ready to move into his forever home and take his place by your side.
