Genesis is a sweet little girl looking for her new beginning. While she is a little timid when she first meets you, she warms up quickly and then wants to be the center of your attention. She loves to give kisses and if she had her way, she would spend all day, every day snuggling in your lap! She loves lap snuggles so much, that she can be a bit on the possessive side if another dog tries to move in on her cuddle zone, but has happily coexisted with other dogs and is totally fine with cats. She always does very well around kids.

Genesis does fairly well on a leash, but could use a little extra guidance. She listens well and always looks to her person for comfort. She is a people person and will let you know she isn't happy when you have to leave without her. Genesis loves to play and will run after anything you throw for her - especially if it squeaks! She has a great energy level, but can use that energy to jump 4-5 foot fences, so would need to go to a home with a very secure yard. She can really get going when it is play time, but can easily settle back down when playtime is over.

Genesis came to POMDR because her guardian moved in order to care for her father, and she is not allowed to have dogs in her new home. Overall, Genesis is an affectionate girl who would do best in a home where she can be the focus of all your love and attention. Start your new beginning with Genesis by your side!
