Murphy looks amazing for his age. He still has a strong back and can do stairs and is even able to get on and off furniture. He is so resilient that he has actually been attacked by a dog and twice by raccoons but survived those encounters with just a couple little scars.

He likes people and solicits attention. He loves to sit on his person's lap. He has lived with other dogs and is totally appropriate in meeting new ones. He likes to explore new areas and is pretty good on leash. He is a little hard of hearing but still takes directions well. He is comfortable being left alone and has been good around kids but should go to a home without them.

Murphy is needing a new home because his person is ill and can no longer care for him. He was her dog since he was puppy and has been loved and adored his whole life. This trooper now is overcoming this transition and is ready to settle in a new home.
