Roxi is a beautiful Husky who doesn't fit many of the Husky stereotypes. She's very gentle, great with large and small dogs, has no observable prey drive and doesn't need a typical Husky exercise routine. A mile or two a day of walking and sniffing does just fine. And she's great on a leash. Roxi loves people and is always up for an opportunity to show it. She is extremely intelligent and perceptive, she wants to please her human family and only needs gentle coaching on how to do it.
Roxi has an eye problem that has cost her vision in one eye and impaired the other, but with daily eyedrops, probably for life, she will retain and might even improve her vision. Roxi has bonded with her foster's dog and has let us know that she'd be much happier in a two or more dog home with those dogs being medium to large sized. However, she needs to be fed separately from other dogs.
Could Roxi be the one? She'd really like to meet you and your dog(s) and show everyone that the answer is an emphatic yes!!
Roxi joined us from Salinas Animal Services.
