This little cutie is Dakota. Dakota is a big fan of fetch and loves to play with fluffy squeaky toys, which he will carry around everywhere.

He enjoys going for walks but likes to bark at other dogs when on leash. He does well with other small dogs during off-leash playtime. Dakota rides well in the car. He is fine living with other dogs as well as cats.

Dakota would do best in a home without children. He can be stubborn in certain situations and will sometimes bite out of frustration. He is mostly potty trained but does mark at times out of excitement. He does well wearing a belly band. Dakota is on daily medication for heart disease.

Dakota came to Peace of Mind because his guardian became ill and was no longer able to care for him.
