Bodie is just a big, sweet baby. Look at that trusting face! He loves everyone, including children of all ages and cats. He has a wonderful temperament: Bodie doesn't bark or whine, and has no aggressive tendencies at all. He eagerly goes on his walks and greets everyone with gentleness.
Bodie seems especially sensitive to human emotions - he has an uncanny ability to know when you've had a bad day or if you are sad, and he comes to comfort you with kisses. At night time, Bodie the faithful companion wants to be where you are, and comes to sleep in his bed at the foot of his foster's bed. Our big boy is curious, loves going on walks and car rides, and lives for new adventures.
Gentle daily exercise is fun for Bodie as well as therapeutic, as it helps to keep his joints limber. This boy enjoys all kinds of attention, including his baths and grooming! Bodie's ideal home would be one in which he doesn't need to climb stairs too often, and which has carpets or rugs for traction. He takes a couple of medications, which he takes happily in treats.
Bodie came to us because his loving guardians could no longer afford his medical expenses, due to financial hardships.
