Charlie has such a handsome smile and a great disposition. His two different-colored eyes are captivating, and he is such a charmer. He is a wiggly, happy-go-lucky boy who gets along well with everyone. He loves getting attention, speaking of which, his coat definitely needs some attention. Charlie has been on a low dose of thyroid medication for six months now, and it is not sufficient, which helps explain his patchy coat. We are figuring out his needs and correct dosage, and we hope to see him at a much better weight, looking better, and most importantly, feeling better.

When Charlie first came to us, he hads been an outdoor dog his whole life, but he transitioned smoothly and easily to being an indoor dog. He even discovered that he loves watching TV! He is very affectionate with his person and will lean on your knee for pets. Charlie is very gentle with children.

Charlie was adopted from us in 2020, but he recently came back into the program due to his guardian's struggles with her own health.
