Are you a fan of high energy, rambunctious dogs? Well then let us introduce you to Conan. He is a fun loving dog who zooms about and seems to process the world as fast as the latest computers. The only thing more wild is his beard. Conan is very affectionate and will squirm in your arms to feel hugged all over and is quick to strike with his kisses. He will do this with people he just met, as he sees everyone as someone to love. He does bark at new things, and for attention, and sometimes just to hear himself speak. He needs a home without shared walls, which means he is not an apartment dog. He is too vocal when excited or in trying to communicate.

Conan is easy to carry, pretty good on leash, and very friendly with other dogs. He is treat motivated and wants to please. He does settle down when ignored and is at an age in which his zest for life often explodes out of him, so he may be more relaxed in time. Just be ready for lots of kisses between now and then.

Conan eventually settles into a home well but is reactive in busy areas. He is not ready for beach walks or strolls around a city. He will fixate on other dogs and let everyone know he sees them. With practice and help from a trainer, he could learn to handle these situations. He is also a flight risk and needs a secure yard and is not ready for camping trips.
