This little girl is a total sweet pea with her kettle chip ear and snuggle tooth. She is happy to be held and loved. All you need to do is look her way and her tail starts wagging.
Ava is getting along great with her canine foster siblings, sharing space and making friends. She has a good appetite for food and a strong desire for cuddles. She can be shy at times but a gentle hand will quickly win her favor. She likes to go places and see new things. A patient person is needed to walk with her but she's just fine with being carried. She sleeps in bed and is out like a light until you decide it's time to get up. She has moments of mischievous play but they are short! Toys basically get ignored for the most part.
She came to us with a large hernia that was corrected but she still has some sagging skin in that area. She is healthy now and ready for a family to fall in love with her.
She was brought into the Hitchcock Road shelter as a stray and then into our program in hopes to find her a forever home.
