Meet gentle Missy May, who recently gained a new leash on life (pun intended). This senior gal never knew the joy found in a nice walk until recently, and she absolutely loves getting outside to go exploring. Missy May says age is just a number, and she has the enthusiastic spirit of a much younger dog - especially when you bring out the kibble or some soft, chewy treats.
She's a cuddle bug too, happy to crawl into the nearest lap or make a nest out of a soft blanket. Although she's deaf, she pops her delightfully large ears up when something catches her attention. Her big doe eyes are kind and expressive, and, combined with her cute head tilts, sure to melt your heart. You just want to take care of this little lady.
Missy May used to live in a house with a doggie door and would appreciate having easy and constant access to a fenced yard in her new forever home. She sleeps through the night, preferably in your bedroom, and gets along great with other dogs. She has lived with cats and mostly just ignores them. Which usually works great for the cats. Missy May rides well in the car, and when left home alone catches up on her sleep. She's an easy keeper looking for a nose to kiss and someone to love.
Her guardian recently moved into housing that was not pet friendly, so Missy May is now needing a new person.
