Benjito is an alert, high-energy little fellow, with luxurious black eyelashes and a curly tail. He does a little tap-dance when trying to get other dogs to play with him, and he would prefer to play most of the time if he can get someone to join him. When he's all played out, he's content to snuggle on your lap or doze on a dog bed. Benjito is intelligent and eager to please, and he pays close attention when you talk to him. He does need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, but he's also a cuddly little companion.

Benjito has been living with several other small dogs and got along well with all of them. Benjito is in great shape for his age, with nice clear eyes, a clean coat, and surprisingly white teeth! He was obviously well-loved in his former life.

Benjito came to us from South County Animal Rescue, where he was surrendered after his guardian passed away.
