Male, 5 years old, 60 pounds
Foster needed
Mossy was found in Moss Landing with bite wounds on his leg, likely from another dog. He started his healing process at Hitchcock Road Animal Shelter, and his leg is doing much better now. Although the shelter reported that Mossy was still feeling a little timid around other dogs after his bad experience, he is building back his confidence, and even invites other dogs to play now. Aside from a minor ear infection, Mossy is a healthy boy, and is ready to go to a foster home to start his new life. He is a gentle fellow and would likely adapt well to most homes, though we do not know about his experience with cats or children.
If you would like to meet Mossy, press the Adopt Mossy button and fill out our online adoption questionnaire.
