Doc is a mellow fellow who enjoys his person as much as he enjoys his favorite Charlee Bear treats. Offer him an easygoing stroll on leash or a ride in the car and he's content to be your sidekick as you go about your day. He is perfectly pleasant when meeting new folks as well as dogs. Doc isn't much into toys; he prefers to meander after his person (or hitch a ride in their arms!).
Because he is so adaptable and mild-mannered, Doc is fine to be left for a bit while errands are being run. Doc is deaf, but he adjusts quickly to his surroundings, and he has never let that stop him from making friends (human or pup) or showing his affection for his family. Doc is also great at letting his person know if he would like a little extra attention or needs to go outside - he simply talks about it or lets you know with his sweet, expressive eyes!
Doc came to us because his senior guardian has moved into assisted living and is no longer able to care for him.
