Roku enjoys being held, and he may occasionally give your fingers a delicate nibble to see if there's any chance they might contain treats! He equally enjoys sniffing his way around new environments and exploring the world with his nose. He has some vision and hearing loss due to aging, but he navigates steps and doorways just fine in spite of this.

He does fine meeting other dogs when they are polite and enjoys the company of other dogs as long as they're respectful. He can occasionally be startled by other dogs entering his space unexpectedly, but he lets them know clearly that he needs his bubble and then moves out of the way.
