Munchkin is a true happy-go-lucky Pug. He loves everyone he meets and relishes attention. If you don't have hands free to give him a scratch, he'll rub his back against your legs until you give in and pet him! Although he's never lived with another animal, his guardian's daughter had a dog and a cat who have been Munchkin's best buddies since he was a puppy. If other dogs are unsure what to make of his noisy breathing, Munchkin will continue his efforts to make friends until he wins them over, or until he loses interest and finds something fun to sniff!

Munchkin absolutely adores going for walks, and he could use plenty of them, as he has a little bit of extra weight to lose. He is trained to use a doggie door and is comfortable being left alone for several hours at a time, though he's never been left alone longer than that.

Munchkin originally came to us because his guardian moved into assisted living, and family members were unable to care for him. He was adopted by a loving family, but they are moving and can not bring him along, so he is searching for a forever home.
