Toodle is a curious and energetic gal who acts younger than her estimated age. She loves human attention and has an enthusiastic tail wag for anyone who will give her pets or scratches. She does get startled by being picked up, and will yelp loudly to let you know that she's alarmed. If you go slowly, though, and start with gentle pets, she is comfortable with being lifted and will burrow into your arms.

Toodle doesn't seem to mind other dogs much, but isn't as excited to interact with them as she is with people. She sometimes will tell another dog that she wants the human giving pets all to herself, but she is all talk and no action. She is extremely motivated by treats, and will do just about anything you ask of her if she thinks there might be a snack on offer.

This sweetheart came to us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after she was brought in as a stray.
