It's pups like Mozart that keep us doing what we do here at Peace of Mind Dog Rescue! It's clear that Mozart (named for his luscious white curls!) has had a challenging life after he was removed from a situation of neglect and had little care for his grooming, health or well-being. But now, he's looking for you. A quiet and peaceful home for him to sleep in all day and experience what it truly means to be a dog showered with TLC - and treats - everyday! While he can get along with other pets at home, Mozart is looking to be the 'star of the show' and who could blame him after having such a ruff start to life?
Mozart experiences a bit of 'stage fright' when meeting new people, but once he knows he can trust you he will follow you around the home all day - that is, until he gets tired and decides it's time to take a nap. Due to his arthritis, he likes moving through life in slow-motion and would prefer a home without stairs. He's also learning to trust people and is working very hard at his foster home on building his self-confidence. If patience, love and treats is what you have to offer, it'll be music to Mozart's ears and he'd love to meet you!
Mozart came to us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after he was removed from a situation of neglect. He had been living as an outdoor dog on a farm.
