This tiny girl has accumulated more nicknames than she can count: Little Pea Plum, LPP, Little, Pea Pod, Pea Pea, Plum Blossom...the list goes on. For simplicity's sake, we'll call her by her official name, Pea Plum. Pea Plum is a very sweet, quiet little girl. She is shy with new people and does not seem to have had much experience out in the world but she is blossoming in her foster home and getting braver every day. She can be startled by loud noises and active situations so she would do best in a calm home. If you hold her in your arms, delicate chest scratches will cause her to close her eyes in bliss. She does love gentle petting and will roll on her back for belly rubs. She follows her foster mom around and is happy to be on a lap or nearby.

She likes to go on walks but doesn't need long ones. She relaxes when at home. She rides quietly in the car in a crate. She's a great eater and loves treats. She knows how to use the dog door.

She has been fostered with large dogs, small dogs, and cats and was very respectful of all of them. She tiptoes about delicately on her soft little paws, and turns her face away when another dog gets too close. Though she gets along great with dogs, she could also easily be an only dog. She's an easy keeper looking for a patient loving home that will continue to give her the time to blossom.

Pea Plum was found as a stray in Aromas by one of our supporters. We believe she was thrown from a moving vehicle or was hit by a car. She has healed up from bruising and road rash on her chest and belly. She was reported as found to local shelters and did her thirty days of stray time before being surrendered to POMDR.
