Everyone agrees James Dean is the coolest, most handsome guy around town, but unlike his namesake, this little rebel comes with a cause: bottomless joy! Jimmy has an exuberant spring in his step and will follow you East of Eden on any given day. This hunky wiener dog leaps into your lap every chance he gets and enjoys all the attention. He knows that he is irresistible and will melt your heart with his adorable forehead wrinkles. He might be slightly shy with some new people he meets, but is generally friendly and curious. James is outgoing when meeting other dogs and will solicit play with big tail wags and a happy dance. He is polite with cats and gives them a good sniff if they let him. He has no known experience with children.

Jimmy walks well on leash and enjoys a brisk pace. He would appreciate a bit more exercise to lose a few pounds to regain his ideal beach body. Otherwise, he is in excellent shape and very healthy. In some circumstances, he may need some guidance and training with resource guarding. His most precious resource is his human companion and he sometimes gets a bit protective. Jimmy is eager to learn and to please, and he is ready to be your faithful companion, either as part of a pack or a solo pup as long as he can spend plenty of time with his human.
