Rosemary is a mild-mannered sweetheart who can be slightly shy when meeting new dogs and people, but warms up quickly once she's had a chance to introduce herself. She is friendly and polite to other dogs, and loves to play with dogs her size! Rosemary really lights up when receiving human attention. She will nuzzle her head onto your lap while you are seated and follow you around like your shadow when you are about. She's generous with kisses and loves to be petted from head to tail!
Rosemary was initially pretty shut down from the hustle and bustle of the shelter where she spent a couple weeks, but slowly began to feel more comfortable and developed quite an interest in treats! She arrived at the shelter lactating and with enlarged mammary glands (and a couple of mammary masses), so it's obvious she has been a mama dog.
Rosemary comes to us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services.
