Female, 10 years old (estimated), 4 pounds
Tiny Cricket is a sweet little Chihuahua with lots of love to give to people, other dogs, and even cats. She prefers being with her people for most of the day so she can get all the cuddles she wants. She loves going on walks has the cutest bark of greeting when she meets other dogs. Cricket is very good about using the doggie door when she needs to go out, but will occasionally alert her people so they will go outside with her.

Cricket has a condition called megaesophagus. This requires her to eat in an upright position and stay upright for about 15 minutes in order to get her food down. She does this currently by hanging out in the most adorable pouch while attached to one of her foster parents! Due to her condition, Cricket can not have free access to water as other dogs should. Because of restricted water access, Cricket will likely need to be an only dog in her next home or have modifications to accommodate her needs.

Cricket was surrendered to us after her guardian was hospitalized and therefore unable to care for her any longer.
