Tiny Cricket is a sweet little 10-year-old Chihuahua with lots of love to give to people, other dogs, and even cats.
Cricket loves being with her people for most of the day so she can get all the cuddles she wants. She loves going on walks and meeting other dogs. She has the cutest bark when she meets other dogs. Cricket is very good about going out the doggie door when she needs to go out but will occasionally alert her people so they will go outside with her.
Cricket has a condition called megaesophagus. Because of her condition, she must eat in an upright position and stay upright for about 15 minutes in order to get her food down. She does this currently by hanging out in the most adorable pouch while attached to one of her foster parents! Due to her condition, Cricket cannot always have access to water as other dogs should. Because of restricted water access, Cricket will likely need to be an only dog in next home or have modifications to accommodate for her needs.
Cricket was surrendered to us after her guardian was hospitalized and was unable to care for her any longer.
