Foster needed
With her soulful eyes and silly tongue, Mona is sure to bring a smile to your face! This very sweet lady loves to stick close to her human and is a great companion. She loves meeting new people in and outside of the house. Mona has a mellow energy level, content with a cozy lap to crawl into. Mona would be happiest in a home where her people are around for much of the day. She gets quite sad when left at home, even if she has a furry sibling with her.

Mona adores a nice walk around the neighborhood, but she is working on learning manners when greeting other dogs while out and about. She may be small, but she is mighty when she feels the need to tell another dog of her displeasure in seeing them enjoying a walk as well. Mona is what we refer to as a 'door dasher'. She is just so excited to go for outings that she forgets she needs to wait for her humans. She is searching for an adoptive home that is able to keep Mona safely in the home and can watch out for these moments. She has experience living with both cats and dogs and has done well living with both.

Mona came to us from the SPCA of Monterey County after she was surrendered when her guardian passed away.
Mona was adopted!
