Foster needed
Violet is a sweet senior lady looking for the finer things in life: snuggles, sleeping and sniffing around. She gets along great with other dogs, has lived with a cat, and is just the happiest little gal. She does not have known experience with children.

This adorable little Chihuahua is receiving medical care through our vet clinic to remove a large mammary mass. We know that Violet will have a whole new lease on life after this procedure! She is receiving subcutaneous fluids at home, which her adopters would need to be comfortable administering, but she is very good about receiving this treatment. She would love nothing more than to land in her forever home to recover in the loving arms of her adopters.

Violet came to us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services as a medical rescue after being picked up as a stray. Her guardian was located, but they were unable to continue caring for her due to her medical needs.
If you would like to meet Violet, press the Adopt Violet button and fill out our online adoption questionnaire.
