Poochini is a mellow guy who enjoys being held and sitting on your lap. He would love nothing more than to go everywhere with you. Poochini is crate trained but loves his people, so would prefer companions who are mostly home with him or wanting to take him out and about with them. He would make a great travel companion!

Poochini gets along well with other dogs and would probably enjoy sharing a home with another dog his size. He enjoys slow-paced walks with ample time for sniffing. This sweet little guy has some spinal arthritis and funky hips, so would be best in a home without stairs (or where he can be carried up and down the stairs). He has a heart murmur and currently requires daily medications for dry eye, but is an excellent patient, so administering them is easy.

This sweet guy from Contra Costa County Animal Services was found as a stray, so his new family will want to be patient with him while he gets comfortable and starts to feel safe in a new home. Belly rubs should do the trick!
