Pinto is an adorable 8-year-old Chihuahua who weighs 10 pounds. He's is a mellow little guy who is happiest hanging around with people. He also gets along with other dogs and currently lives with another foster dog. Pinto hardly ever makes a sound, but he shows his affection by shaking with excitement when his people come home! Although he's not the most playful dog, Pinto loves to go out for walks, he may at a slow pace but he loves taking in all of the smells around him.

Pinto gets along well with other dogs when he's out and about, most of the time he barely pays them any attention. Although Pinto is not super interested in toys, he certainly loves his food, and he will gladly consume any treats that head his way! Pinto is very mellow around adult humans and other dogs. He has no known experience with cats or children. Sweet Pinto's heart is so big with all of the love that he has to share that it is actually enlarged and he has a severe heart murmur. Because of this, he is on life-long daily medication to keep his heart condition as stable as possible.

This adorable guy came to us from the City of Stockton Animal Shelter. He was in need of some medical care that we could address at our clinic.
