Mickey is a precious little pooch with the most soulful gaze. He walks well on leash but very slowly and likes to take in his sights and smells. He enjoys meeting new friends of both human and canine varieties but he really prefers spending his time with his person. Mickey prefers not to be picked up, as this can be a little scary, but give him some stairs or a ramp, and he will happily join you for a cuddle on the couch! This boy adores his food and even more so, treats! He shows his love through granting his favorite people gentle kisses. Mickey has lived in a home with cats and does just fine with them but would do best in a home without children.
Mickey has been diagnosed with leukemia but is doing great with treatment. He gets along beautifully with other pups but is not particularly playful with them.
Mickey came to us from San Jose Animal Care and Services.
