Grover the Schnauzer is a Schnauzer lover's dream! This sweet and friendly boy loves every person he meets, including children, and is happy to interact with dogs of all shapes and sizes. His foster family reports that "eager" is his middle name! He is eager to please and listen, eager to go for walks, eager to smell anything there is to smell, eager to play, and eager to cuddle up and get as much attention as he possibly can. He simply is a beam of joy and happiness and is so excitable that his tiny tail wags a million beats a minute whenever you say his name. Grover is an excellent copilot on car rides and is also very well behaved when left home alone.
The home of his dreams would include a canine companion to play with, or at least lots of visits from doggy friends and/or plenty of play and entertainment with his human companions. He would appreciate a couple of good long walks a day and someone to cuddle him all the time. He has no known experience with cats but he loves to please so with a slow introduction, we think he could learn to leave them alone.
Grover joined Peace of Mind Dog Rescue after being found as a stray and brought into Hitchcock Road Animal Services.
