Pablo is the quintessence of a big ole friendly dog. His foster describes him perfectly, stating, "If Pablo was a person, he'd have a million friends." He's a congenial, affable, kid-loving, cat-cuddling, dog-friendly dude whose heart is going to be absolutely open to yours. Pablo is affectionate and gentle and other than some low-key snoring, he's a very quiet presence. He enjoys the sunshine, napping in his bed, and being close to his human. Pablo has some age-related arthritis, so he'll do best with short walks around the block or a nice yard in which to take in the sights and smells. Wanna take Pablo out for a car ride? He does fine going up a ramp to curl up in the backseat where he enjoys seeing the world with his big head out the window or just napping the miles away. With his arthritis, Pablo needs a single story living situation.

Pablo was recently diagnosed at our clinic with hypothyroidism so he will need daily medication to keep his thyroid in balance. He also has a history of skin and ear issues so may also need to be on Apoquel for life.

This sweet guy came to us as a guardian surrender. He was initially rescued from a puppy mill situation, but his senior rescuer can no longer provide the care that he needs.
