Kahlua may look like a dog, but we think she might just be a piggy in disguise! She greets everyone with that sweet Pittie smile and exuberant tail wags, which turn into whole body wags. She tends to explore the world with grunts and snorts, which is why she reminds us so much of a cute little pig! Kahlua really prefers when everyone who is near her acknowledges her and treats her like the queen that she is. She enjoys scratches, pets, kisses, or a good full body massage, preferably while chewing on a stuffy that she will slowly shred. Her friends at the shelter say she is "imminently huggable" and leans in for love whenever and with whomever she can find.
This sweet girl is great with dogs of all shapes and sizes, and if someone barks at her because they think she is too big, she turns the other cheek and walks away to find new friends to make! We don't know yet how she is with cats or children.
Kahlua has some medical concerns that we are still figuring out. If you fill out an adoption questionnaire, we can give you the most current details.
Kahlua came to us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after being found as a stray.
