Beautiful Indie has had a rough start to the year. She came to us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after being hit by a car, suffering from road rash and injuries to her legs. This sweet girl is looking for an adopter or foster who can give her lots of love and would be willing to do a little bit of training with her.

Indie is initially timid but will come out of her shell with some tender loving care. She appreciates treats like no other and, once bonded, she enjoys staying close to her human so she knows she's not alone.

Having shown a little too much interest in cats in the past, we think Indie would do best in a home without cats. She gets along ok with other dogs once she's had some time to get to know them, but prefers small dogs and would also do great as the only dog. Being timid, she may need a bit of time to warm up to male humans since they tend to be bigger and have deeper voices than women. This girl is a wonderfully sweet pup who will conquer your heart in a jiffy if you show affection gently and take things one step at a time.

Despite recently having her front leg amputated, Indie still gets around with ease! She is an active pup who enjoys fetching and roaming the yard.

Indie was adopted!
