Sweet little Pekalina is a pint-sized pup who loves nothing more than spending her entire day in your arms. Though she can be a little timid at first with new people, all she needs is a little love and attention and she'll want nothing more than to be picked up by you. This cuddle bug wants to wake up and go to sleep in your arms and spend every moment with you in between.

Pekalina has some separation anxiety that she's making great strides in overcoming, but she still has a ways to go. Her ideal companion would be able to spend most of their day at home with her. Pekalina also has scars from a previous dog attack, but her wounds have long since healed. Despite her experience, this little pooch loves all dogs and cats and would be happy to have a sibling. We haven't yet seen how Pekalina does with children, so we'd want to make sure all interactions were monitored and small children are respectful.

Pekalina came to us after her senior guardian could no longer have dogs in her home.
