Just like Odysseus, this Homer has been through a lot and is on his way to finding his home. This timid, sweet boy's journey has been difficult, but he's ready to find a patient, loving companion who enjoys walks, head pats, and snuggles. Nothing would make Homer happier than finding a home with someone who can spend lots of time with him, particularly if that time involves cuddling.

Homer has been through some medical procedures since arriving at POMDR, but he's recovering well. He does still have some sore spots, which makes him not such a big fan of being picked up. Homer does use his mouth to communicate when he doesn't like something. We do not know how Homer would do with children, but have observed him getting along nicely with mellow, respectful dogs.

Homer came to us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after being found as a stray wandering around a field in Salinas.
