Clyde is a spunky, happy, and confident boy whose tail truly never stops wagging! This young sport is in his absolute prime and he relishes a busy and diverse schedule. He awakes bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, ready to seize the day. After an invigorating morning walk, he enjoys running errands with his humans, maybe going to the park or the beach, and after lunch it is time for a beauty rest. Then, ideally, more walking, socializing, and fun activities in the afternoon. If you do need to leave him for a bit to run some errands, Clyde is A-OK with that. He'll curl up for a nap while you're away! Besides being an active and inquisitive pup, Clyde is also a huge cuddle bug and enjoys snuggling on the couch. He is happy around older children, and is even stellar around kitties! While he gets along well with other small dogs, he would appreciate some training to help him overcome reactivity to certain, usually larger, dogs.
Clyde is not a big fan of being home alone and would much rather be by his humans' side for most of the day. He would love to move into an active household with lots of entertainment throughout the day. While otherwise in great shape and healthy, this pup may have some allergies to chicken. Instead of chicken treats, he loves fruits and vegetables including carrots and broccoli, and his favorite is a bite of crunchy apple. With this little dude on your team, you are guaranteed to have fun all day, every day!
Clyde came to us from Our Neighborhood Pet Project, who rescued him off the euthanasia list at a shelter in Los Banos.
