Some of you may have daydreamed about spending time with Fabio in the 80s. Well, now is your chance to have him in your life every day! Though they share a name, but not the flowing locks, this four-legged Fabio will melt your heart just as fast! Fabio can take a bit of time to warm up to new people, as he is shy at first, but then will be your loving snuggle companion!
Fabio is a gentle fellow with other dogs, cats, and older children. He adores going for car rides just about as much as he loves his walks! When not out and about on the town, he is a total lap dog and enjoys burrowing in blankets and playing with toys at home. He's a loyal and well mannered boy who would love a quiet spot to land in. Fabio came to us almost hairless due to untreated allergies. He has come a long way in our care, but we are still working to resolve his allergy issues.
At this time, Fabio is available to an adopter who is committed to working on his skin issues. Treatment involves a combination of Western and holistic therapies.
Fabio was rescued from the euthanasia list at an Oakland shelter by Our Neighborhood Pet Project. They reached out to us for help getting Fabio's skin issues resolved and to help him find a forever home.
