If Snowy were a wine he'd be a white pinot noir: with him in your world you'll pick up notes of tenderness, a heart-forward nose, and a desire to blend in with your pack. Snowy sees the best in everyone and quickly bonded with his foster family and dog siblings. If he really connects with a dog, Snowy will follow them wherever they go and even imitate their behavior. Snowy doesn't need a long hike to feel satisfied, but he does need a little more training with a leash (it's still a little confusing to him-maybe your resident dog can show him how it's done?). Snowy prances when he walks, which is just one more adorable trait in this little guy.
As easy-going and grateful as Snowy is, there are a couple requests he has: he gets nervous when he's left alone (so a home with a companionable canine would be ideal); he's not crazy about long-distance drives (a short jaunt is fine). We don't know yet how he would do around children or kitties.
This sweet guy came to us from Santa Cruz County Animal Services after he was surrendered to the shelter.
