Gretchen is looking for her luck to change. This poor girl was initially found in terrible shape from a hoarding situation. She was skin and bones and horrified of the world. We imagine she didn't know what life was like outside of her former home/crate. We would love nothing more than to find a home for Gretchen to spend her days and to get her feeling her best.
Gretchen has put on some healthy weight in our care but she still has a long road ahead of her. She is searching for a compassionate and patient home that can continue to help her build trust and confidence. Gretchen gets along beautifully with other dogs and doesn't mind feline companions.
Sweet Gretchen originally came to us from the Riverside County Animal Shelter after being found in a hoarding situation. Unfortunately she was recently returned from her adopted home due to being fearful of a cat that was bullying her.
