This morsel of canine goodness is a gourmet kind of Nougat, with extra sugar and honey mixed in. Snuggling on the couch seriously turns him into a sweet and slightly nutty blob. In other words, he is the most affectionate little guy and loves to be as close to his person as possible all day long. On top of that, he has these soulful eyes that look straight into your soul and pull on your heartstrings. Nougat very much enjoys meeting new people, will solicit pets, and invite himself into anyone's lap. Mr. Nougat likes going for daily walks and is well-behaved on leash. He is friendly when meeting other dogs and he fits in just about anywhere, from cozy tiny house to spacious mansion. Overall, he is very adaptable and would likely be a happy camper joining a family with any level of activity.

We don't know much about Nougat's past, as he was found as a stray and brought into Santa Clara County Animal Services. They decided a more senior specific rescue would help him find the best home to meet his needs.
