Nougat is a sweet little guy with a real talent for finding the best seat in the house - usually right next to you, or preferably in your lap! Affectionate, social, and easygoing, he loves being close to his people and is always happy to welcome a little extra attention. He enjoys meeting new people, is always happy to soak up some affection, and has soulful eyes that are nearly impossible to resist.

When he is not busy perfecting his couch-companion skills, Nougat enjoys daily walks and does nicely on leash. He is friendly when meeting other dogs and has an adaptable personality that could fit comfortably into many different kinds of homes. He is equally content heading out for a stroll or settling in for a cozy afternoon with his favorite person.

Nougat was found as a stray and brought to Santa Clara County Animal Services. The shelter reached out to POMDR to help this senior gentleman find the right home for his next chapter. Now he's ready to settle in, find his favorite lap, and make himself very much at home.
